Turning Creativity into a Profitable Career
to help animators and independent creators
achieve sustainable income generation.
In recent years, increasing attention has been drawn to the
harsh working conditions faced by Japanese creators.
With a shortage of industry professionals, many animators
and artists are forced into long working hours with unfair
wages. Additionally, piracy websites, which illegally
distribute manga, movies, and anime content without the
permission of the original creators or publishers, continue
to persist.
This project was launched with the desire to break the cycle
of creators being deprived of the profits they rightfully
deserve and to pave the way for a brighter future for
Japan’s renowned creative industry.
A 2023 survey conducted by RAKUZA revealed that over 80% of respondents consider the anime and manga industry to be a source of national pride, and nearly 70% view its future optimistically. However, concerns about low wages and demanding working conditions were prevalent, highlighting the high barriers to entry for aspiring professionals in the industry.
If these issues are left unaddressed, the labor shortage
will worsen, potentially leading to the decline of the
entire industry.
As a first step, we are launching CREATORS' RAKUZA and
introducing a profit-sharing system for NFT transactions.
Moving forward, we will continue to develop a more
sustainable working environment for Japanese creators while
fostering the growth of Japan’s extraordinary anime, manga,
and cultural industries.

Allocation Function
RAKUZA Inc. is committed to providing an environment where creators can confidently produce their work, helping to further spread Japan’s rich cultural heritage, including manga and anime.
With this new feature, a system has been established where royalties are granted to copyright holders and creators whenever ownership of an NFT is bought or sold.
Additionally, the profits generated from transactions
involving copyrighted works and creators' content will
be stored within RAKUZA and distributed upon the
completion of a contract.
By implementing this function, we will further
strengthen our support for creators and pave the way for
a world where anyone can participate in the NFT art
market and generate significant value.

Ashi Production is an animation studio established in 1975. Their notable works include robot anime such as "Blocker Gundan IV Machine Blaster" and "Chogattai Majutsu Robo Gingaiser." In addition to original animation, they have also produced adaptations of existing works, with "Magical Princess Minky Momo" standing out as a beloved classic that continues to enjoy popularity even after its original broadcast.
As part of a new project launched in collaboration with RAKUZA Inc., Ashi Production will begin exclusive early sales of "Magical Princess Minky Momo" cel NFTs on the RAKUZA platform.
